US, Los Angeles: Moorpark Fatal Metrolink Train vs Semi Truck
Los Angeles, United States - June 25, 2025 06/25/2025 02:13 pm GMT-0700 MOORPARK, Calif. – Ventura County Fire Department crews and allied agencies responded to reports of a train striking a vehicle in the fields off the 10000 block of West Los Angeles Avenue. When crews arrived on the scene, they found a southbound Metrolink train, identified as #118, had collided with a semi-truck at a nearby railroad crossing. The driver of the truck was pronounced dead at the scene. One passenger on the train received treatment for minor injuries, while all other passengers and crew were unharmed.
