US, Los Angeles: Encino DUI Suspect Crashes Through Wall After Pursuit
Los Angeles, United States - July 22, 2025 07/21/2025 08:00 pm GMT-0700 ENCINO, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A high-speed chase through the San Fernando Valley Monday evening ended in a violent crash near residential homes. The suspect, believed to be driving under the influence, exited the 405 Freeway and slammed into a wall near Sherman Oaks Avenue and Fiume Street in the Encino area just before 8 p.m. Debris from the impact flew toward nearby homes. The red vehicle also struck a parked car before getting stuck in bushes. California Highway Patrol officers quickly moved in, dragging the suspect from the vehicle and taking them into custody.
