Script: A serious accident occurred on Tuesday at a residential society in Sector 20, Airoli, Navi Mumbai, when the society’s security wall suddenly collapsed. Four two-wheelers—bikes and scooters—parked nearby were swept away into an adjacent pit. The entire incident was captured on a nearby CCTV camera. Preliminary reports suggest that construction work was underway next to the society. Due to this ongoing construction, the ground weakened, causing the security wall to give way. Fortunately, no people were present nearby at the time of the collapse, otherwise it could have led to significant casualties. Local residents have accused the builder responsible for the construction of negligence and are demanding strict action from the authorities. The incident took place on 3rd July.
