This is the terrifying moment an earthquake shook a house in Myanmar just months after a tragic quake that killed more than 5,000 in the country.
CCTV footage shows the tremor rattling furniture inside a house in Mandalay at 7:10 am local time today, July 3.
The United States Geological Survey said the magnitude 4.4 quake struck 19 kilometres northeast of Myingyan at a depth of 17.2 kilometres.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or casualties. Residents, still on edge from the previous tragedy, fled from buildings.
On March 28, a powerful magnitude 7.7 quake struck Myanmar. Up to 5,352 people in Myanmar and 103 in Thailand were killed and many more were injured.
