A green tree snake was spotted slithering across a hotel door.

A staff member saw the reptile clinging on the wooden entrance while cleaning a guest's room in Nong Khai, Thailand, on October 14.

Footage shows the motionless reptile draped over the metal door knob.

The employee said: 'It disappeared when I was finished cleaning. It might have come in through a gap in one of the windows.'

Thegreen tree snake is a non-venomous species native to Australia and parts of Southeast Asia, known for its bright green coloration and agility in trees. It primarily feeds on frogs, small reptiles, and occasionally birds, and poses no threat to humans.
