Los Angeles, United States - July 28, 2025 07/28/2025 12:58 am GMT-0700 WEST COVINA, Calif. – The West Covina Fire Department responded to a 911 call about a garage fire at a residence on the 2800 block of East Sunset Hill Drive. Firefighters arrived to find the garage fully engulfed in flames, and the fire appeared to be spreading toward the main house. Before the fire department's arrival, the homeowner evacuated the family, including two dogs. Firefighters quickly contained the blaze to the garage, which also housed two damaged vehicles. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. There were no reported injuries among the homeowners or the firefighters on the scene.
