US, Los Angeles: West Covina Vehicle vs Pedestrian Fatal
Los Angeles, United States - August 14, 2025 08/13/2025 10:18 pm GMT-0700 WEST COVINA, Calif. – West Covina police and fire departments responded to a traffic collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of South Azusa Avenue and East Walnut Creek Parkway. Upon arrival, firefighters immediately rendered aid to the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene by firefighters and paramedics. The vehicle that struck the pedestrian remained at the scene and was in communication with officers. It is unknown at this time if alcohol or speed was a contributing factor to the incident. West Covina police had closed all northbound lanes of Azusa Avenue as they investigated the fatal crash.
