This is the hilarious moment a running robot crashed into a man on an athletics track in China.
The humanoid participant accidentally ran into one of the event technicians standing on the track during the 2025 World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing.
Footage shows the black athletic bot slamming into the back of the unsuspecting staff member, who was walking with a friend across the outer lane on August 14.
The impact sent the man tumbling to the ground, causing the robot to briefly pause before continuing its sprint as if nothing had happened during the 1500m final.
The comical mishap drew laughter from the crowd as the man quickly got back on his feet. The robot's operator could be seen following closely behind the runner.

Sponsored by the Beijing Municipal People's Government and China Central Radio and Television, the tournament featured 26 events across four categories — competitive competitions, scene competitions, exhibition matches, and external competitions.
The competitive events included track-and-field races like the 1500 meters, 5V5 robot football matches, high jump, and long jump, as well as other athletic challenges.
On April 19, the world's first humanoid robot half-marathon was held in the city, with 21 robotic athletes from across the country participating in the 13-mile (21 km) race.
