US, Los Angeles: Diamond Bar Truck Rear Ends Semi Trailer at High Speeds
Los Angeles, United States - August 21, 2025 08/20/2025 10:17 pm GMT-0700 DIAMOND BAR, Calif. – The California Highway Patrol (CHP) and Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) responded to a traffic collision on the westbound 60 Freeway at the 57 Freeway transition road in Diamond Bar. Upon arrival, units found a pickup blocking the third and fourth lanes of the freeway. The pickup sustained significant front-end damage, while the semi-trailer had considerable damage and lost a tire in the crash. The driver of the pickup truck was transported to a local hospital with injuries that are currently unknown. Firefighters evaluated the semi-truck driver, who was not transported to a hospital. CHP has temporarily closed all lanes as crews work to clear debris from the roadway. It is currently unclear if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
