Home collapses as foundations are weakened by rain in India
This is the heart-wrenching moment a home collapsed after its foundations were weakened by torrential rain in India.
The multi-storey building came down near the HRTC workshop on Chadi Road in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, on Sunday, August 24.
Footage shows the structure surrounded by trees and already leaning before it gave way and crumbled to the ground.
It remains unclear if there were any injuries.
A landslide was also reported in the area, causing road closures and prompting emergency responders to begin a clean-up operation.
The monsoon death toll in Himachal Pradesh this season has now reached 306.
