Bakersfield, United States - September 04, 2025 09/03/2025 09:06 pm GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – An investigation is underway following a three-vehicle crash that left one person with minor injuries in the 100 block of Washington Avenue. The collision occurred on Wednesday evening at approximately 9:06 p.m. Initially, units were dispatched to a report of a vehicle that had crashed into a house. However, upon arrival, officers discovered that three vehicles had been involved in the collision. One car had struck a parked truck, which led to the collapse of a fence and then impacted another parked vehicle. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene on foot but was later located by deputies from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office. Witnesses at the scene reported that the woman left two kids of unknown age inside the vehicle when she fled. The driver of the car was transported from the scene with minor injuries. Responding agencies included the California Highway Patrol, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, and the Kern County Fire Department.
