US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield Pedestrian Struck by Car
Bakersfield, United States - June 30, 2025 06/29/2025 11:55 pm GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle late Sunday night near the intersection of 23rd Street and Chester Avenue just before midnight. The driver of the car reportedly fled the scene after the collision. The victim sustained head injuries and was treated by emergency responders. Firefighters were observed washing away blood from the scene. The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating the incident. There is currently no additional information regarding the vehicle or the victim's injuries.
