This is the amusing moment a pack of rescue dogs played a hot dog pinata game.

Animal charity The Stray Haven organised the donation drive to provide meals for homeless animals in Cavite, the Philippines.

Footage captured by Leriza Alindog shows dozens of malnourished stray canines leaping and snapping at snacks dangling from bamboo sticks on September 14.

Leriza said: 'The game was specially made for the rescue dogs, for which we steamed 300 hotdogs. They looked so delighted, and we couldn't contain our happiness seeing them enjoy their meal.'

The Stray Haven group holds monthly stray feeding programmes, called Help Feed Stray Cats and Dogs, across different locations in Manila, Bulacan, and Cavite.
