Storyline: Drones, rooftop attractions redefine Chongqing's night economy [Voice_over] Every Saturday night, more than 5,000 drones light up the skies above the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers, creating breathtaking visual displays. Blending Chongqing's mountain-city skyline with cutting-edge technology and artistic design, the shows add a new sparkle to the city's already celebrated night view. Rooftop attractions nearby are drawing record crowds, quickly becoming hotspots for nightlife. This 380-meter circular suspended walkway immerses visitors in the thrill of "walking above the skyline", offering sweeping views of the city at night. [Sound_bite] Li Xue, Vistor: "The night view is beautiful, and with the drone show, it's truly stunning. It's such a unique experience and worth it. I'd even welcome something more thrilling. I'm not afraid at all." [Voice_over] For those seeking an extra adrenaline rush, the Sky Swing on the 47th floor of Raffles City sends visitors soaring above the city lights. Unlike traditional observation decks, the complex has been designed as an "urban sky park". [Sound_bite] Alina, Vistor from Romania: "The speed, and that view from up there,it's amazing. All the city with the bridges, and the lights, everything. we gonna go home and tell everyone that should come here to visit." [Sound_bite] Cheng Nan, Manager of Exploration Deck Viewing Gallery, Raffles City Chongqing: "Since the drone shows became a regular event this year, we've extended our sky park's closing time from 10 to 11 p.m. And from May through October, the city's building lights stay on until 10:30, so visitors have plenty of time to enjoy high-altitude attractions while watching the show.As a result, between April and September, our Saturday evening traffic from 8 to 10 p.m has grown about 35 percent compared to last year, and revenue is up around 30 percent." [Voice_over] Beyond Raffles City, Yuzhong District is maximizing its skyline with a growing number of rooftop attractions. The "Cloud Eye", transformed from a former helipad, has become a social media hotspot offering 360-degree views of the city. Visitors can take photos at specially designed checkpoints, buy cultural souvenirs, and even try extreme sports. [Sound_bite] Zou Linjun, Deputy General Manager, Chongqing Cloud Eye Tourism Development Co., Ltd.: "Beyond observation, we've integrated cultural and tourism experiences to match the trend of social-media-driven travel. Beyond ticket sales, these activities are fueling the vitality of this place's night economy." [Voice_over] As Chongqing positions itself as an international consumption center, it is expanding late-night offerings and creating new leisure scenes. As drones light up the skies and rooftops come alive with new experiences, Chongqing is redefining nightlife — turning its famous night view into a driving force for culture, tourism, and the city's growing economy.
