US, Phoenix: Phoenix L-202 Extrication Crash Involving Work Truck

Phoenix, United States - October 15, 2025 10/14/2025 08:00 pm GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Troopers with the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) responded to a traffic collision on the Red Mountain L-202 in the westbound lanes at the start of the 32nd Street exit on Tuesday night. The three-vehicle collision involved a passenger car, a pickup, and a work truck. According to information gathered at the scene, construction workers were attempting to temporarily close a portion of the L-202 for maintenance when their truck was struck. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene and reported that at least three people required extrication from their vehicles. At least three people were transported to the hospital in unknown condition. DPS restricted the westbound L-202 to one lane as they investigated the collision and worked to remove the involved vehicles from the roadway.
