Quick-thinking driver brakes as schoolboy suddenly runs in front of car in China
This is the dramatic moment a quick-thinking driver slammed on his brakes when a schoolboy suddenly ran in front of his car in China.
Dashcam footage shows the youngster sprinting into the road as the vehicle slowly manoeuvred out of a parking area in Jiangxi Province on September 26.
The child can be seen colliding with the side of the car upon impact, while the driver immediately hit the brakes.
The boy's friend quickly helped him up as his mother rushed over to check what had happened.
Moments later, the driver stepped out of his vehicle to approach the boy and his mother.
The child did not sustain any injuries from the incident.
