Los Angeles, United States - November 01, 2025 10/31/2025 11:13 pm GMT-0700 VERMONT-SLAUSON, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Officers from the LAPD's 77th Division responded to a smoke shop in the 6900 block of South Figueroa Street for reports of a shooting involving a victim down. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive male outside the smoke shop. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by personnel from the Los Angeles Fire Department. No further details are available at this time. UPDATE: Social media and sources in the area of the shooting are stating that the victim in this incident is the son of Eugene Henley Jr., who is known professionally as Big U, a music manager, CEO of "Big U Enterprises", and alleged leader of the Rolling 60's Neighborhood Crips. He has managed the rappers Kurupt and Nipsey Hussle. TMZ has confirmed the information.
