This is the shocking moment two bungling workers lost control of a tractor, sending it tumbling down a hill.

CCTV footage shows one of the labourers driving the machine while his colleague stood in front, clinging onto the vehicle in Guizhou, China.

As the operator manoeuvred the four-wheeler carrying a cargo container filled with sand, he attempted to make a turn but failed to engage the brake on October 21.

This caused the tractor to roll uncontrollably down the slope.

Realising he could not stop the vehicle, the pair leapt off just seconds before it plunged into a ditch.

The men were later seen standing in shock before cautiously approaching the fallen tractor.

No injuries were reported following the incident.
