A British tourist in Bali refused to pay a delivery rider, claiming he spat on his food.

The holidaymaker ordered dinner but turned it away when the chicken wings, salad and fries arrived at a rented villa on the resort island on November 4.

The man then demanded a refund, saying his food was contaminated.

Footage shows the shirtless, tattooed tourist arguing with a furious woman who was trying to hand him the takeaway meal.

He then pointed at the food delivery rider and told her: 'I seen you spit in the food, you go spit in the food. I seen you.'

The foreigner's girlfriend was seen recording the row on her phone.

The deliveryman, who was working in tandem with his partner, was later forced to leave when the tourist shut the door on him. He has denied the accusations.

He said: 'I never spat on his food. There are CCTV cameras all around the villa that will prove my innocence. The man just wanted a free meal, so he claimed I spat on his dinner.'
