vehicle crashes into riverside home

A vehicle crashed directly into a home near the intersection of Michigan Avenue and West Main Street in Riverside on Monday afternoon. The impact caused significant damage to the front of the residence and prompted a full response from Riverside Fire and Police.
Firefighters arrived quickly to check for injuries, ensure there were no entrapments, and assess the structural stability of the home. Neighbors gathered outside as crews evaluated hazards and determined whether the occupants could safely remain inside.
No entrapments were reported. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
