Terrifying moment toddler falls down gap between train and station, staff rush to her rescue
This is a rescue event that occurred on December 1, 2025, at Baoji Railway Station in Shaanxi.
Surveillance footage shows a 4-and-a-half-year-old girl suddenly running out of the train car as the doors of train G853 were about to close, inadvertently falling into the gap between the platform and the train.
Duty officer Liang Kang reacted quickly upon discovering this, urgently contacting the driver not to start the train. Subsequently, everyone worked together and safely rescued the child in just 1 minute and 26 seconds.
Afterwards, the parents took the little girl and left on the train as originally planned.
