Storyline: Green trade emerges as new driver of China's foreign trade [Voice_over] From electric machinery to photovoltaic components to wind turbines, China's green products are rapidly advancing on the global stage. In the first 10 months of this year, China exported 1.4 billion U.S. dollars in wind turbines, a year-on-year increase of 45-percent and roughly 28 billion in photovoltaic products. And electric loaders. This machinery company in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region say they've seen remarkable demand from abroad for their electric loaders, that can operate for 8 hours on a single charge. [Sound_bite] Yao Dongxu, manufacturing director of electric loaders, Guangxi LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd.: "This year, exports of Chinese electric loaders have surged by 120 percent compared to last year, demonstrating the growing maturity and reliability of China's electric-drive technology." [Voice_over] Officials from the Ministry of Commerce say going forward, companies will actively follow global green trade rules and work to enhance their green and low carbon capabilities. The latest statistics show that China currently has over 6,400 national-level green factories, nearly 500 green industrial parks, and more than 40,000 types of green products developed by domestic companies.
