Knife and Smoke Grenade Attack Reported at Taipei MRT Stations
Footage filmed at 5:28 p.m. on December 19 shows the aftermath of a reported attack at the Bannan Line platform of Taipei Main Station in central Taipei. According to authorities, a suspect allegedly threw smoke grenades inside the station and attacked passersby with a knife before fleeing the scene. The suspect later moved to the nearby Zhongshan Station, where further attacks were reported, and then entered a nearby department store. [@starmiau]
