China: Fujian coast guard conducts law enforcement patrol in waters off Taiwan Island, Matsu and Wuqiu Islands
The coast guard of east China's Fujian Province conducted a law enforcement patrol starting Monday in waters off Taiwan Island, the Matsu Islands and the Wuqiu Islands, according to footage released by the China Coast Guard. The activities were carried out to exercise jurisdiction over Taiwan Island and its affiliated islets in accordance with the one-China principle, according to Zhu Anqing, spokesperson of the East Sea Bureau of the China Coast Guard.
