1. VARIOUS OF SEARCH AND RESCUE TEAMS RETRIEVING PASSENGERS AND THEIR BELONGINGS FROM OVERTURNED BUS IN DITCH KALUSH, UKRAINE - DEC. 28: A passenger bus operating in the western Ukrainian city of Kalush crashed into a ditch on Sunday, leaving one person dead and five others injured.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that the vehicle overturned after veering off the road in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. Emergency teams responded to the scene to assist the victims.
Footage released by the agency shows the bus lying on its side in a trench as emergency workers inspected the wreckage and retrieved passengers' belongings.
