A 6.2-magnitude earthquake hit the Taiwan Strait at 7:57 am today (November 26) causing tremors in Xiamen City in Fujian Province, southeastern China.

In the video, hangers can be seen falling from coat-stands, while lights, TVs and frames hanging on walls can be seen shaking dramatically in local apartments.

One alert man picks up his child and flees the building as soon as he feels the quake, while hundreds of students are seen being evacuated to a playground.

Aftermath footage shows fragments from a broken ceiling scattered on a bed, while bottles of cooking oil were shaken free from supermarket's shelves, spilling on the floor.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported, according to reports.
