Teenager trapped in sewer after jumping in to find a spoon
This is the bizarre moment rescuers found a teenager trapped in a SEWER - after he jumped in to retrieve a dropped SPOON. Passers-by heard the 19-year-old calling for help then spotted his white eyes looking through the metal grate. Police opened the grill and fished out the filthy lad - as he emerged covered in sludge and holding the piece of cutlery. The delighted youngster emerged clutching the steel spoon in front of bemused onlookers in Bnagkok, Thailand. A spokesman from the Ruamkatanyu Foundation, a group of volunteers who filmed the rescue, said: ''The person was stuck in the drain and the local people heard him calling for help.
