Thirsty and very cute bat is fed water by a sympathetic bystander
A man who saw a bat trying to quench its thirst while it was searching water on the ground helped it by pouring a container of the liquid on the ground for it to drink.
In the heart-warming footage, the bat is seen gulping down the liquid as the man pours it from a container straight to the ground.
The bat fearlessly swoops down and slurps the transparent liquid as the man continues to refill by pouring it from the container.
It is being said that bats drinking water is a rare sight and it takes a lot of efforts to capture one in action. Being a night creature, these are very difficult to be filmed in such an action.
The video was filmed and circulated online that satiated the queries of the person and removed a misconception that bats drink only blood.
A person said, “Wow! Seeing a bat drink water for the first time, all the time I knew it was just that these creatures drink blood.”
