Python slithered inside a busy government office, rescued and released in the wild in India
A dramatic footage has emerged of a python crawling on the window glass of a government in northeastern India.
The 10-ft-long snake had slithered into the government office, taking the staff members by surprise.
After spotting the slithering beast climbing on the glass wall, the staff members summoned wildlife activist Saurav Borkotoki.
Borkotoki arrived at the scene and started the rescue operation. The video shows the man capturing the python and putting it inside a sack.
"We released the python by the river. As soon as we let go, it disappeared in the water. It was very satisfying see the python slithering back into the wild where it belongs."
