A four-year-old boy was rescued after being allegedly thrown into a river by his father in northern India.

Footage captured on February 1 shows two water boats approaching the boy and his rescuer and taking them to safety.

Jaya Yadav, a resident of Balua Ghat, saw the boy falling from a bridge and into the river below. He then rushed to the water to rescue him.

Police are investigating the incident, reports say.

Jaya Yadav, a resident of Balua Ghat, in Jaunpur throw his four year old child Named Naman from shastri Bridge to the river. A onlooker guy Kishan Nishad who work in hotel & was going for work. As he saw the four year old boy in the river he jumped in the river & caught hold of boy & started swimming. In the meantime 2 water boat reached reached & Rescued both of them.
The poilce reached the spot & did some investigation but still are clueless that why the father has thrown his four year old child in river.
The incident happened on 01 February in Janupur Uttar Pradesh India.
