Leopard kills dog, drags it away from locals in northern India
This video captures the shocking moment a leopard dragged a dog after killing it in northern India. The incident took place on March 28 in Palchan village, located in Himachal Pradesh's Kullu district.
Visuals filmed by locals showed a leopard dragging a dog after presumably killing it. The predator was seen resting to eat a bit of flesh before dragging the dog further away from the locals. Surrounding showed thick ice on rocky terrains, with a few patches of dry land. The leopard stayed on dry land.
Reports said the predator has killed several dogs before. The incident triggered a panic among the locals.
