A wild male Elephant electrocuted in a Private plaintain field in Southern India.

A wild male Elephant electrocuted in a Private plaintain field in Bhavani sagar Reservoir area of Sirumugai Forest. The forest officials investigating the reason for the death of elephant. due to illegal installation of battery operating electrification of wires. 
In Bhavani sagar Reservoir belongs to public work department of  government of Tamilnadu, Sirumugai Forest nearby Mettupalayam in Coimbatore District.where a wild male Elephant electrocuted in a Private plaintain field. The death of elephant informed to the forest officials this morning. The team of forest officials Mr Venkatesh District Forest officer, Mr Manoharan Forest ranger of Sirumugai Forest, Mr Radhakrishnan Ranger and Mr. Sathishkumar, Forest security Guard immediately arrived the spot. They supervised the incident took place spot. In a Private Plaintain field a farmer installed battery operating electricity wire to prevent the intrusion of animals instead of solar operating electricity system. In the night a male wild Elephant was entered in to the plaintain field in search of food
Unfortunately the elephant was electrocuted. The investigation is going on for the cause of death. The reason for the death of elephant will be known after the final probe. The age of elephant is 10 to 12. Tamilnadu electricity Board officials were also arrived the spot. Government Veterinary Doctors came the spot for the Autopsy of elephant. The real reason of behind death of elephant will be known after the autopsy only.
