Bizarre Man climbs on over head tank for demanding political reform in India.
One person climbs on over head tank demanding political reforms and threatened to commit suicide. The police rescued him and taken into custody. The incident took place in Arjavani gudem village, Bantumilli mandal, Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh.
The police explain the incident as follows. One p Vijay Raju, aged 21 years, climbed the over head tank in the village at around 8am and threatened to commit suicide by jumping off from there. He was standing many changes in the political system and said only after proper assurance he would get down. Revenue employees, fire fighters and police personnel tried to bring him down but in vein. One of the political reforms he demanded is that a person elected from a party should not change guard until that term is over.
The police tied nets around, then climbed the tank, and got him down. CI Ravi Kumar, SI Srinivas led the police teams, shown patience and rescued him. Later the police took vijaya raju to police station and taken him into their custody.
