A video has emerged of a 7-year-old minor boy driving a scooter on a busy road in the Ghaziabad, NCR of the Indian capital New Delhi on (May 2nd).
The video shows the boy sitting in the front as his father sits on the back seat of the scooter.
The boy is seen with his hands on the handle of the scooter controlling the balance and the accelerator as he drove throughout the Kavi Nagar's Diamond flyover in Ghaziabad.
A road user who spotted the rare sight took out his mobile phone and captured the rare incident on the camera.
Although the man behind is seen guiding and training the kid, minor driving is illegal in India.
Commenting on the video, S.N Singh (S.P Traffic) said, “The offence is criminal in nature as he has risked two lives”
“We are trying to investigate as the vehicle's registration number is not clear in the video, had it been clear it would have been easier for us to track the vehicle and the owner down.”
