Thuggish robber snatches chain off 75-year-old woman in Indian alley
A 75-year-old woman named Shantamma was brutally robbed of a gold chain necklace while walking outside her home in south India on the early morning of May 7.
CCTV footage shows a man can be seen approaching the elderly Shantamma while she was walking along in Mawali, Bangalore in Karnataka state.
He then snatched her chain, which weighed 110 grams and was made of gold, and ran off, to the confusion of nearby passersby.
She registered the crime with local police who are investigating the incident.
