Watch – 4th Grade Ward attendant stitches patient's wound in Jalandhar hospital
A class four staff of the Jalandhar civil hospital was caught on camera stitching wound of a patient in the emergency wing on 15th June . An inquiry has been launched after video of the incident came to light. The doctor, staff nurse and the ward attendant have been shifted from their duties pending inquiry. The doctor said that the injured patient was sent to minor operation theatre, where the ward attendant stitched the wound on his own without informing her. However, the attendant said that the doctor asked him to stitch patient’s wound.
