A four-metre-long python regurgitated a 40-kilogram goat in southern China.

The video, shot in Anxi county in Fujian province on September 1, shows the python attempting to swallow the goat.

Police officers tried to help the snake by stretching it out and pressing down on its stomach.

Finally, the python regurgitated the goat and then the snake was released back into the wild.

According to reports, the farmer found the snake when he was searching for his missing goat in the jungle.

近段时间来，安溪县蓬莱镇龙居村村民姚先生发现自己家羊圈里的羊接连失踪，先后丢失了数只，每只都有数十斤到上百斤。9月1日上午，姚先生终于找到了元凶、竟然是一只重达65斤、长4米多的蟒蛇原来，9月1日上午9时，姚先生夫妻俩上山寻找失踪的羊时发现一只巨蟒正在龙居某山林里蜷缩着，肚子鼓鼓囊囊的。惊慌的他们赶紧报警，安溪县公安局蓬莱派出所民警联合安溪县森林公安分局随后赶到现场，将这条蟒蛇抓获，蟒蛇把羊吐出后，打架将它放生。
在拖拽的过程中，蟒蛇将吞食的山羊吐了出来。据了解，蟒蛇有4米多长，65斤重，公羊有80多斤重…… 民警提醒，蟒蛇是国家一级保护动物，村民如果发现蟒蛇，不能擅自捕捉，更不能猎杀，否则将被追究刑事责任。如发现蟒蛇威胁到人身安全或伤害到家养禽畜请及时报警处理。
