Busy on phone health official neglects to screen for Corona
A health department worker has been suspended for neglecting to screen passengers for Corona in india.
A health inspector, Narasimha Murthy, was stationed at a railway station in Tumkur in South India to screen train passengers for Corona on March 20.
His job was to record the body temperature of the passengers and report those running a fever.
A video shows Murthy busy speaking over his phone and letting many passengers exit without recording their temperature.
District Health Officer Chandrika has suspended Murthy and ordered a probe.
