Army helicopter showers flower petals on hospitals, thank COVID-19 medical staff in western India

In an attempt to salute healthcare workers, who are at the forefront of combating the deadly novel coronavirus disease, the Indian Air Force (IAF) flew helicopters over a hospital in western India's Gujarat.

The incident took place On May 3 at the BJ Medical College and Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad city.

Visuals show the helicopters showering flowers as a band played patriotic songs as healthcare workers stood outside the facility.

The exercise was carried out by the navy, airforce and the army in various parts of the country.
