Two missing kittens rescued from 150ft deep well
This is the heartwarming moment two missing kittens were rescued from a 150ft deep well in Chonburi, eastern Thailand.
The owner of the cats was searching for them when he heard soft cat cries from a deep hole and contacted the rescuers for help on Tuesday afternoon (June 11).
They rushed to the scene and looked into the well and saw two kittens holding on to a drum to keep themselves from drowning.
Footage shows the rescuers tying a basket with a rope and lowering it down for the hapless kitten to enter before slowly pulling the felines up one by one.
Both drenched kittens, shocked and exhausted, were finally brought up after two hours.
The relieved owner Adirek Tilarak, 30, said he started to worry after his cats Namtan and Dum were missing for the night.
He said: "Normally, these two playful kittens would be around the house every evening but yesterday I had not seen them playing.
"This morning when I had not seen them again I started to walk around looking for them then I heard their cries from the well.
"I looked down there and saw them struggling in the water so I called the rescue team because the well is so deep and I did not know how to retrieve them."
