A two-legged dog was rescued after falling into a hole. The pooch was helped by volunteer from a non-profit animal shelter in Prachuap Khiri Khan, southern Thailand.

Staff member Tangmo recorded her colleague Nampetch helping the disabled mongrel from the pit.

Footage shows Nampetch fondly bringing the chubby mutt up from the hole. He says in the video: "You know you always do these little mistakes. Let me help you my little boy."

The stray lost its legs after being hit by a car a few years ago before it was adopted in the animal sanctuary.

Nampetch said the strong animal had been severely injured for a year before the team found it and took it in to be cared for.
