A taxi driver with a widescreen TV installed in the front console of his vehicle. The cabbie was even watching a sitcom while picking up passengers and driving them around Bangkok, Thailand. 'It's strange, but it's perfectly legal in Thailand,' said the astonished passenger who recorded the video of the willing driver. 'However, I don't think it's safe. He could easily be distracted by the TV show instead of paying attention to the road.' Thailand has one of the highest rates of road traffic deaths in the world. More than 6,000 people died on the country's roads in 2020 in the six months up until the start of June.
