Footage shows how an exotic snake was de-wormed as part of its annual health check.

The one-year-old corn snake named Bacon was treated at the 24hr U-VET & Exotic Animal Hospital in Bangkok, central Thailand on August 8.

Footage shows the female reptile sucking a tube that releases laxative supervised by a vet.

The vets said Bacon is healthy and well. They said: "We need to use a small tube to give laxative to the snake, so it will excrete waste later."

Bacon was named after its stunning colors that resembled the red, brown, and crispy breakfast meal.

There are other kinds of exotic pets that usually visit the clinic, such as sulcata tortoises, birds, apes, and chameleons.
