Jonglei State government visit UN camp after flooding in South Sudan

The government of Jonglei state had visited the United Nations Protection of Civilians camp in Bor. The visited of the state governor Denay Jock Chagor has shown sign of peace to people at the the PoC who remain in a camp for seven years.
The camp was created by United Nations Mission in South Sudan after 2013 war which displaced millions of people in South Sudan. In September the UNMISS begun to progressively withdraw its troops and police from the PoC sites and changed protection of civilians site into internal dispalced camp. After IDPs refused to leaved the camp.
Governor's visited was to understand conditions of IDPs at the site and to encourage them to leaves the camp to their respective residents.
But the camp Chairperson Joseph Chan told governor that their security is still difficults in Bor town.

The translation of the speeches.
JONGLEI GOVERNOR DENAY JOCK CHAGOR ACT: "I am here to joined with our fellow citizens, who have been here in IDPs camp and to see some of the challenges that are facing them, to hear their concerned and we heard issues of security, food and security and all of those things are concerns of every citizen of Jonglei. Second to that, we see that people are yorning for peace and unity this is exactly what we here from them. And we are sure that all of us join together to implement this peace agreement and we want to make sure that everybody is joining in together. And from what we hear from everybody is willing to come out, everybody is willing to see that there is level of security for every citizen in Jonglei state and that is a responsibility of the government of South Sudan. Starting from Jonglei State. This is what we see and we are very happy with the warmth reception here in Protection of Civilians Site (PoC) camp. And we are all happy and will all join hand together." GOVERNOR DENAY JOCK CHAGOR ACT END.

DEBORAH SCHEIN ACT: "Okay thanks you, this is excellent day. This is the first visited of the governor to IDPs camp and I am very proud to say that the government is taking responsibility for security, UNMISS will not be responsible for protection of civilians. The first responsibility of the government is to protect its citizens, setting up responsibilities and it is a very good day for peace and it back opportunities and is back one people all of Jonglei state and is encourage peace." JOSEPH CHAN IS THE CHAIRPERSON OF IDPS: "All community of Anyidi specially chiefs of Anyidi and acting paramount chief of Bor community becuase they allowed IDPs to involved in any movement to take care for them in the forest as their sister's. Brothers this is a sign of humanity that allowed people to struggle. We also give more appropriation to humaniterians and protection partners for more burdens they executed here and they are still saving these people in the camp. This statement goes to all people. When we work hand-in-hands this mean that the unity of Jonglei is in place. So I am very happy with governor's visit."
