Demonstrations of students and workers representing the Indonesian people against the leadership of the Joko Widodo regime, efforts to revoke and reject the omnibus law are an agenda that continues to be voiced. On the other side, a combination of military security and the police guarded the 20th October 2020 demonstration by deploying 10000+ troops at the state palace so that there would be no rioting of destroying public facilities like the demonstration the previous day. Some of the junior high and high school students involved in demonstrations were detained by the police.
