Indian villagers use ropes and ladder in two-hour rescue of cow stuck in swamp
Villagers in north India's Rajasthan state used ropes and a ladder in their rescue of a cow stuck in a swamp for two days.
Locals from the city of Ajmer spotted some movement in the swamp and noticed a cow struggling amongst the greenery, they immediately informed officials.
The rescue team used a ladder to reach the cow and tied a thick rope around the animal.
After around two hours, the team managed to pull the cow, no unconscious, from out of the swamp. It regained consciousness a while later and has been returned to its owner.
This footage was filmed on November 17.
