Chinese security guards form human chain to bring stray dog trapped in icy lake back to safety
Kind-hearted security guards formed a human chain to bring a stray dog trapped in an icy lake back to safety in southern China.
The heroic footage was filmed in the city of Chongqing on January 11.
Three men held their hands to form a human chain and then lowered down a slope to reach a stray dog trapped in a frozen lake.
They then pulled the dog up together to bring it onto the shore.
According to reports, the three men were security guards from a nearby real estate agent.
The filmer named Mr Liu said he adopted the dog as it did not want to leave after being rescued.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
