Buffaloes save cowherd's life after tigress attacks him in central India
A herd of buffaloes saved a cowherd after a tigress clawed him in central India's Madhya Pradesh on April 7. The incident took place near the Panpatha range of the Bandhavgarh National Park, located in the Umaria district.
A video features a severely wounded cowherd lying helplessly on the hospital bed while blood drips from his face and body. Moreover, he explains how the tigress leaped on him from behind the bushes while his herd saved him from the fatal occurrence.
The 26-year-old victim, identified as Lallu Yadav, was returning to Kothiya village after grazing his herd when a tigress leaped on him from behind the bushes and ambushed him on the spot. The animal began to prey on him and clawed him, following which the buffaloes attacked the carnivore to save the cowherd.
After the clash, the tigress drifted away and escaped from the spot while Lallu contacted his family and the forest department and informed them about the unfortunate occurrence. Following this, the Panpatha forest ranger, Parag Senani, rushed to the spot and admitted Lallu to a Community Health Centre for immediate medical help. Furthermore, the doctors pulled him out of danger after providing him relevant treatment.
