Girlfriend of South African rapper Aka dies in tragic hotel incident
Nellie Tembe, the 22 year old girlfriend of award winning South African rapper AKA died after she allegedly jumped from the balcony of the Pepperclub Hotel in Loop Street in the Cape Town CBD. At this stage police have opened an inquest docket into the young woman's death.
The general manager of the hotel, Elfi Ella, spoke to the media outside of the hotel after the body of the deceased had been removed. He said the hotel was alerted to an incident around 7h30 this morning, after which the hotel contacted the police.
