This is the heartwarming moment a dog is rescued from a plastic jar stuck on its head, in eastern India.

The dog, with the jar over its head, had fallen in a small pit. The villagers who saw it in the morning called the local dog rescuer for help.

After one hour he managed to rescue the dog from the pit and remove the plastic jar.

As soon as it was removed, the dog ran towards the village.
